WITH A heavy heart the Kingsteignton Swimming Pool and Recreational Association (KSPRA) made the decision to once again cancel their annual Christmas float.
The float would have seen Santa and his trusty elves travel Kingsteignton’s roads, going house to house spreading the Christmas spirit and bringing joy to children.
It is also a fundraising effort as people can make donations to the KSPRA which is run entirely by volunteers thus any opportunity to fundraise is incredibly important.
Upon hearing the news, Barbara and David Amery of 2 Darran Road chose the KSPRA as the charity set to receive the money raised from their annual Christmas lights display.
Donations are vital to the running of the beloved outdoor swimming pool.
Pop down from 5pm and take in the spectacle and drop some change into the collection box if you wish!
