Much of Dartmoor’s landscape has been shaped and reshaped over the years, and many of its historic pathways now lie overgrown or forgotten.
Historian and author Michael Bennie will be revealing some of the tales behind some of these now overlooked routes in a fascinating illustrated talk – Dartmoor’s Ancient Tracks and their Stories – on Tuesday (September 26) evening in Bovey Tracey.
The talk, hosted by Bovey Tracey Heritage Trust, takes place at the town’s Phoenix Hall in St John’s Lane at 7.30pm.
During the evening the charity will hold a prize draw.
Admission, which includes light refreshments, is £4.
