The venue for the annual meeting of Teign Scrabble Club who are celebrating their 25th anniversary was The Community Centre, Kingskerswell.

Elaine Care, Betty Luscombe, Doreen Tucker and Vivienne Plewes were all re-elected on the committee with the addition of Cathy Coombe.

The George Reade trophy was awarded to Pat Heffernan who beat Ann Anderson in the final.

The other members who received a prize were Richard Hitchcock, Vivienne Plewes, Warwick Bassett and Betty Luscombe.

New members are always welcome.
