TODAY is the 40th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s death – but one Teignbridge man is making sure his legacy lives on.

Die-hard fan John Hancox is making sure the King of Rock and Roll is alive and kicking through the offical Elvis fan club and his impressive collection of memorabilia.

The 76-year-old has hundreds of singles, albums and videos of the superstar in action and has even staged his own exhibitions.

He said: ‘It is the anniversary of the king’s death but he left a legacy of music which is still adored 40 years on.’
