A TEIGNMOUTH man has raised more than £9,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society after running the London Marathon at the weekend.

Jamie Dyson, Partner Solicitor at Scott Richards, has so far raised a total of £9,328.63 for the charity, which he chose in support of his grandmother Dotty.

The fundraising total includes around 6,000 raised last year, before Jamie unfortunately had to defer his place due to injury, just over £3,000 raised ahead of this year’s Marathon.

Finishing the 26.2 mile course in three hours and 45 minutes, Jamie is grateful for all donations and said: ‘Thanks to everyone who sponsored me this year and last for an amazing charity’.
