Families in Kingsteignton have been enjoying an early visit from Father Christmas.

The kindly old gent has been travelling the community's streets in the run up to tomorrow's big day, handing out plenty of festive cheer every inch of the way.

His progress has been helped by supporters of the town's community swimming pool, a dedicated band who ensure the annual Santa sleigh ride is always enjoyed by as many children as possible.

The only question on everyone's lips when the man in red is around, where's Bill Varney when you need him?
