With almost 40 floats and mix of ages taking part, organisers of Moretonhampstead Carnival have hailed this year's a great success.
Residents and visitors alike lined the streets of the town centre to enjoy the procession last Thursday.
'There was great community spirit and a tremendous crowd,' said Tim Hills, chairman of Moretonhampstead Carnival Committee.
'The numbers were slightly down on last year, but there was a great atmosphere and it was perfect weather as it didn't rain.'
Those competing in the event worked hard to produce fun and inspiring entries.
Highlights included the Cowboys and Eskimos, the Baywatch babes, Jungle Book styled Jungle Run and a float based on the hit movie Avatar.
