A THOUGHTFUL South West Water employee from Kingsteignton has been publicly thanked for his kindness in dealing with a grieving family’s distress over a bill wrongly sent to their dead son.

Tommii Howes, 22, won favour from the upset Hendrick family in Exmouth by immediately apologising for the error and sending the parents a bouquet of flowers.

In return they have expressed their appreciation of Tommii’s ‘considerate and compassionate’ handling of the unfortunate mishap.
