IT'S humorous, topical, cute and just plain silly.
The annual Shaldon Boxing Day three-legged fancy dress event around the pubs is bound to be just as daft this year.
The fun starts at the Green, and the runners follow a route designed to include all of the village hostelries for a quick 'pit-stop', before ending up back at the Green.
It will go ahead whatever the weather – last year it was sub-zero but still attracted 250 – and the invitation is to dress up and take part, or simply watch the action.
Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes, and the fastest runners.
Registration is from 10.30am, with judging at 11.30am, and the start at noon.
Registration forms are available on the day, or in advance from Bradleys estate agents, with a £2 entry fee over-16s, and under-16s free.
The run is organised by the Shaldon Water Carnival committee as part of their programme of family entertainment for the village.
