There’s a rare opportunity to travel back in time to Tudor Devon when Rotary Newton Abbot presents Rosemary Griggs, local historian and author of A Woman of Noble Wit, in a special charity appearance.

Wearing costumes she creates she will bring to life Sir Walter Raleigh’s mother, the principal character in her novel.

She will be appearing at the Bushell Theatre at 7pm on Thursday, June 9.

All ticket sale revenue from this charity performance will go to Rotary Foundation which supports projects that change lives, both close to home and around the world.

‘Come along and enjoy a lively evening of Tudor entertainment,’ says Rosemary.
