Richard Taylor of Torbay Parks department had the difficult job of judging this year's Kingsteignton In Bloom, due to the quality of the entries. 'He carefully looked at each garden and looked at the effort gone into each entry, and also the fact that some of the gardens still had a lot of flowers,' said Ken Dennis, of Kingsteignton In Bloom. Competition cups were presented at Rydon Community Hall, Kingsteignton, on Saturday, by Rob White, of Speedwell Honda, who originally donated the cups, which are now presented every year. Speedwell Honda also help fund the planting of the Vicarage Hill roundabout and are now donating new perennial plants for autumn.
