Chudleigh Town Council has a vacancy for a councillor.

Despite calling a formal election, no requests to fill the position were received.

'We can now fill the post by means of co-option,' said John Carlton, town clerk.

'Anybody interested in being considered for co-option should email or write to me expressing interest.'
