BOVEY Tracey Hospital, which has been closed since March, reopens on Monday.

In the past 18 months £50,000 has been spent on the building, which is now a ten-bed unit.

Former three and four-bed wards have been reduced to one or two-bed areas, offering patients improved privacy and dignity.

As well as the redesign of some of the rooms, modern wash ing and toilet facilities had been added, the kitchens upgraded and there had been a general refurbishment.
