SEVENTY per cent of people taking part in a police poll in Buckfastleigh reported they felt 'very safe' in the town.

The remainder of those quizzed in the survey admitted they felt 'fairly safe', with just one person admitting they were 'unsafe.'

Just under a half of those questioned confessed there were no issues locally which affected their quality of life.
