q Newton Abbot town centre's last remaining post office is to be closed for three days next month.

The branch, which moved from Market Walk to the Costcutter store, Queen Street, in 2007 is to shut for refurbishment.

Customers have been told that on February 15, 16 and 17 they will need to use the Buckland Post Office or that in the Tesco Express store, Kingsteignton.

A spokesman said Costcutter had requested the changes which would involve bringing the counters forward.

The firm has apologised for the inconvenience but said the shop would remain open.
