TRAGO Boss Bruce Robertson is considering taking Teignbridge Council to the High Court after councillors upheld their decision to approve a multi-million pound service station, hotel and restaurant at Ilford Park, Heathfield, this week.

Speaking to the Advertiser, Mr Robertson claimed the approval was based on an out-of-date Transport Assessment. He is seeking counsel's opinion.

Members of the development control committee agreed on Monday by 16 votes to seven, with one abstention, to extend the time limit on Arnold White Estates and Sibelco UK Ltd's outline planning approval for the scheme.
