THE hunt is still on in Kingsteignton for Munin the Viking Raven.

Munin broke free from his tether at the town’s craft and hobby fayre on July 23.

He belongs to Andrew Johnson from Wellington, who was head Viking at a historical reenactment at the show.

Andrew stayed on to find him but had to return home without Munin.

Town mayor Ron Peart said: ‘For the first couple of days he was spotted around the area. He was seen in Fore Street and flew off to perch on the Bell Inn.

‘He was last seen at Tweenaways on a car and since then the trail has gone cold.

‘Apparently Munin likes raw chicken legs so could be lured in. He is likely to be venturing to houses looking to be fed.

‘He was hand reared from a chick so he is not frightened of humans.’

Munin wears a blue ring tag on one leg and is registered with the UK birds register.
