ABBPAST, a history group based in Abbotskerswell, has launched its second volume of its Village History Series.

The book, entitled Houses and Families, focuses on the families of the village and the houses they built and lived in, and tells the story right up to the modern-day housing developments.

The latest volume, which follows on from Industry and Commerce, was launched in the village’s historic 16th century Church House, which features in the book. The history group is releasing four books which are being supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
