A DAY full of fun and family activities was enjoyed by all those who attended the Ipplepen Village Show and Ipple Tipple Beer Festival on Saturday.

The event, which made a welcome return after a covid-enforced absence, saw a plethora  of  prize-winning fruit, vegetables, flowers, bakes and craft items on display in the main marquee, plus a wide range of wide range of stalls, classic car displays and activities for visitors to explore

More than 50 locally produced  beers and ciders were available to sample  at the  Ipple Tipple beer festival, ranging from traditional bitters to hand-crafted ciders.

There was also live music throughout the day, and into the evening, from locally-based  musicans  singer Sammie Avis, Unity in Sound Community Choir and eight-piece band Reggaskas.

‘I have thank the people of Ipplepen, and surrounding communities, who came along and those who took the time and effort to enter our competitions which always make our marquee such a spectacular sight,’ said show chairman Sarah Brewer.

‘A lot of people give so much of their time organising the show and making it all happen.

‘In particular, I would like to give a big thank you to the committee for their commitment and enthusiasm, which has been very apparent this year because everybody wanted the event to be reinstated.’
