FAther Christmas is interrupting his busy Christmas schedule to call into Ipplepen tomorrow.

He has agreed to attend after receiving an invitation from the village’s carnival club.

The bearded gent will ride through the village on his own Christmas float, followed by the award-winning Ipplepen Carnival Club 2015 Float – Yer Tis.

The parade begins at 2.30pm from near Dornafield Drive and goes through the village to the village hall, where Father Christmas will disembark to take residence in his new Wonderland Grotto from 3pm.

At the village hall the carnival club is extending the entertainment where children will enjoy a Christmas story, sing-a-long, mini treasure hunt, and Christmas colouring.

For the adults there will be a cafe bar.

Tickets to see Father Christmas in his grotto are £2 and are available in advance, details of which can be found at www.ipplepencarnival club.com or if there are any left they can be purchased on the day.
