A REFERENDUM asking residents in Kingsteignton whether they want to save the last remaining area of green space will take place on Thursday, September 19.

Voters are being urged to have their say on the future of the former Devon County Council community resource centre site off Greenhill Way.

Town councillors are keen to save it from developers for use by the community but to press ahead with trying to secure ownership of the site, they need the backing of residents.
