POLICE have issued a stern warning to graffiti vandals in Newton Abbot.

Vehicles and walls have been daubed with these symbols and the town’s police say they have CCTV footage of those guilty.

On their Facebook page Newton Abbot Police say: ‘We have noticed this graffiti tag pop up in a few places recently including on vehicles. ‘We don't know who you are yet (although we have CCTV of you) we also don't know what this says. ‘If you are looking for attention I can tell you that you won’t get it from anyone except us, but what we do have are a very particular set of skills, skills acquired over a very long career, skills that make us a nightmare for people like you who cause criminal damage. ‘If you put that spray can down now, we can arrange an interview, we will not look for you, we will not pursue you, but if you don't make contact, we will look for you, we will find you and we will arrest you.’
