A retired couple who met while volunteering for the KingsCare League of Friends, Kingsteignton, have ensured that their love for each other has benefits far and wide.
David and Pam Moore recently tied the knot after becoming close when acting as drivers for the charity which supports patients at the Kingsteignton Medical Practice.
But instead of asking for gifts the pair requested that family and friends instead made charitable donations.
As a result, both KingsCare >and CLICSargent are £300 better off.
KingsCare co-ordinator Maggie Bonnell said: 'I think it's brilliant, David's not been too well of late but he was super as one of our bus drivers.
'His wife of 50 years died not so long ago and as he and Pam spent more time working together so they became closer.
'They already knew each other a bit from church and it's a rather happy ending I think.'
