POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in a Teignbridge village where thousands of pounds worth of golf clubs were stolen.

Officers are asking anyone with information in connection with a report of burglary to a property in Walnut Close in Exminster to come forward.

The burglary took place sometime between 8pm on Tuesday, October 28 and 9.30am on Wednesday, October 29.

Several items were stolen, including approximately £2,500 worth of golf clubs.
