POLICE say a woman and her son have died after falling off rocks at Haytor

The news came in a press conference at Haytor, a popular Dartmoor beauty spot.

Earlier, ambulance and police personnel raced to the site after a woman found two people lying at the bottom of rocks.

The air ambulance was alerted.

The dead woman is thought to be 24 years old and the boy around five years old.
