ART lovers are in for a treat tonight in Bovey Tracey town centre.

As part of its inaugural month’s events programme, the Bovey Paradiso has announced another addition to the calendar.

The new centre for the arts opened its first exhibition just three weeks ago, featuring the works of two artists –  Rod Ashman, pictured,  and Jennifer Bennet. Tonight, Rod will be speaking about his work at the centre. A spokesman said: ‘Following the success of our opening exhibition at The Gallery @ Bovey Paradiso, which features his stunning paintings, we are excited to announce that Rod Ashman will be giving a talk and Q&A at the gallery at 8pm on Tuesday, July 13. Rod is a widely exhibited and experienced artist and art teacher based in Exeter and we are proud to have his work on show at The Paradiso.’ Ticket price is £10, and due to Covid restrictions, numbers are limited to 15 guests but Jon Arnold, Project Coordinator, says there are still a few tickets available.
