PLENTY of plastic ducks will be making their way along an Abbotskerswell stream this weekend as the village hosts its annual race.

The charity spectacle, which takes place tomorrow, will be raising cash for the upkeep of St Mary’s Church.

Ducks will be launched into the stream, which runs alongside the playing fields, at 4pm.

Visitors will be able to take part in a raffle and name the duck competition in the Church House from 2.30pm.

Tickets for the race cost £1 and winners could bag themselves £25.
