Two budding film makers at Coombeshead College are celebrating after winning a national film competition, writes Dawn Ellis.
A level media students Charlotte Vallance and Alicia Netherway entered their work in the Film Nation Shorts Award and won the Best Documentary or Experimental category for those aged 17 to 19.
Their film Kids, Teens and Olympic Dreams, which is a three-minute documentary on diver Tom Daley and how he has inspired others, impressed the judges including actor Jude Law and Ruth Mackenzie, director of cultural Olympiad.
Thanks to winning the contest, their film will be screened at the 2012 London venues during the Olympic Games.
