Young ballerinas from Newton Abbot are dancing on stage in Cinderella with Vienna Festival Ballet at Torquay’s Princess Theatre tomorrow night, April 25.

The dancers, aged seven to 11 years, train at South Devon Dance and Performing Arts based at Hannah’s Seale Hayne. They’ve learnt a routine to perform in the ballet choreographed by their teacher Lizi Eringa, an examiner of the Royal Academy of Dance.

Ali Aiken, of the dance company, said: ‘They’re dancing the roles of mice and a pumpkin in Act One and are thrilled at the opportunity to dance in a professional ballet. It will be a magical experience for these aspiring dancers.’
