A GROUP of youngsters planning an all-night sleep-out to draw attention to the plight of the homeless in the Newton Abbot area were stopped by Teignbridge Council.
Hazel Bowyer, the 21-year-old lead worker of the National Citizens Service project, was among the ten-strong group intending to sleep out in the town's Courtenay Park Bandstand between 6pm and 6am on Wednesday last week.
