Ashmoor U14 girls were unbeaten in the top tier of the Devon Girls Festival, held at Exeter School, on Sunday.

Hannah Medley gave the team a great start against Plymouth Marjons’ A side, but they couldn’t add to their tally and a late Marjons penalty corner goal left the scores tied at one apiece.

In their second match, against Isca A, Bethany Westbury was unbeatable in the Ashmoor goal, the game ending 0-0.

In the third match, against Exe A, Ashmoor got into their stride, and a Roza Matuszyk hat-trick and a goal each from Anna Silk and Rachael Fee gave Ashmoor a 5-0 win.

The scoreline was repeated in their last match, against Plymouth Marjons B – Charlotte Tlusty weighing in with a hat-trick, and Fee bagging a brace.
