The Easter weekend saw the juniors of Newton Abbot Squash Club challenge club champion and first team captain Lee Curtis to a series of matches.
Each junior tackled Curtis in an 11-point match with the task of taking six points to win an Easter egg.
A former Newton Abbot junior champion himself, Lee was up to the challenge and two-and-a-half hours later had managed to let each junior earn a prize, as well as a winners’ medal.
Lee himself received an egg as well as the gratitude of the assembled juniors, parents and coaches alike.
Junior sessions continue at the Marsh Road club every Saturday morning from 10am and are open to all, regardless of ability.
