THE charity Rainbow Living were presented with a cheque for £2,375 from Teign Valley Golf Club.

This fine amount was raised via a series of fundraising events organised by the club throughout the year, including charity golf days, raffles and a silent auction.

Ted Ridgeway, Derek Hathaway and Maggie Thompson from Teign Valley were delighted to present the cheque to Ruth Airdrie from Rainbow Living.

All of the money raised will be put towards the total needed for the charity to purchase a third Rainbow House, enabling a group of young adults with learning disabilites to live with their peers within the local community.
