Teignmouth Shotokan Karate Club were invited to train with karate practitioners from across the south west and were treated to an afternoon of instruction from England team captain Alton Brown.

Sensei Brown, who coaches the GB university team, taught students skills that he has used to become European and World medallist and strategies that will form part of his own training towards Tokyo’s Olympic Games in 2020.

TSKC is affiliated to the English Karate Federation, which is a representative of the World Karate Federation, which recently had its Olympic bid approved.
