A NEWTON Abbot teenager has been banned for 28 months for drink-driving.
Ben Jordan Avery, aged 18, of East Street, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Fiesta on Newton Road while over the drink-drive limit.
He gave a reading of 105 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath. The ban can be reduced by 28 weeks if he completes a course.
A Community Order was made and he must complete 100 hours of community work.
He was ordered to pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and £114 to fund victim services.
