FEARS about road safety have failed to prevent another 80 houses being approved for a Kingsteignton field.

Permission exists for 250 properties in an adjacent plot.

Objectors (pictured left) had hoped to halt the latest project at Penns Mount, but on Tuesday district councillors voted it through having been warned that refusal was likely to result in a costly appeal.
