A MOTORIST suffered head and back injuries when his car crashed on the A38 at Ashburton earlier today.

(March 4) Two ambulance rapid response cars and an ambulance attended the scene just after 2.30am.

The casualty was taken to Torbay Hospital. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
