POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a serious crash on the A38 at Drumbridges yesterday.

A 26-year-old man driving a Ford Transit smashed into the central reservation on the Plymouth-bound carriageway at 3.10pm.

The man, from the Plymouth area, is currently in intensive care at the Royal Devon and District Hospital.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team want to hear from anyone who can help with investigations including anyone who has dashcam footage.
