POLICE in Bovey Tracey are appealing for information following the theft of two bikes.

A black Vauxhall Astra had two bicycles, which were strapped to a bike rack, taken off and stolen.

They were a Tracks ladies’ bike with 26ins wheels which had one brake working and a rusty fork.

Also taken was an Apollo bike, in purple, with 22ins wheels.

The incident happened between 9pm on Saturday, July 30, and 2am on Sunday, July 31, in Newton Road.
