A MOTORCYCLIST suffered a suspected broken leg when his machine collided with a car outside Newton Abbot today.

The rider, aged 50, fell from his bike just outside the Buckland Athletic ground on Kingskerswell Road just after 7am.

He was taken by ambulance to Torbay Hospital for treatment.

Police also attended the accident scene.

The driver of the car was not hurt.
