Police have issued a burglary alert in Moretonhampstead after four break-ins were reported over the weekend.
Power tools and a bicycle were snatched after thieves pounced at Court Street, Sawyers Close, Forder Meadow and Ford Street.
The incidents were discovered on Saturday morning.
Targets included a garden, a shed and a garage.
In one case a padlock was damaged by the intruders.
Police are anxious to hear from anyone who may have heard or seen anything suspicious in the town overnight on Friday.
