TWO helicopters were involved in a search for a missing woman in Newton Abbot early today.

The police helicopter was joined by the coastguard helicopter from Newquay which landed in Baker’s Park as part of the search.

Police revealed the woman, said to vulnerable, had visited a friend locally and called home at 5am to say where she was.
