A FIRE crew from Dawlish were busy in the early hours of this morning (Sunday Sept 24th) after reports of an abandoned van on fire.
The crew headed to Ashcombe Road just before 1.00am where they found one van well alight.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue spokesman said: " The Dawlish crew used two breathing apparatus wearers and a compressed air foam jet to extinguish the fire. A thermal image camera was used to check for hotspots."
Police were also requested to recover the vehicle as it was blocking the roadway and the cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.
