THERE must be something in the air in Dawlish as a second pair of the town’s famous Black Swans is now laying.

It is the second active nest in Dawlish and made by another loved up couple.

This pair have already laid one egg, thought to be less than 24 hours old.

Their nest is on a fairly high up island in the middle of the Brook, further upstream from prolific breeding pair Bert and Kimba.

This video taken by the owners of Dawlish holiday accommodation Pilchard Cottage shows the second mating pair, who are identified by one which has a pink ring on its leg and other a blue ring.
