A WOMAN was rushed to hospital after suffering a serious injury in Dawlish yesterday afternoon.
Police and paramedics were called to a property in the Roscoff Road area just after 4.40pm amid concerns for the occupant’s welfare.
A spokesman said today: ‘A woman in her 30s was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to hospital with a serious injury. She remains there at this time.’
The spokesman added that the incident would not be the subject of any subsequent police action.
Devon’s air ambulance also responded to the drama, reportedly landing on the football pitch at nearby Sandy Lane.
