TWO fire crews attended an extractor fan fire at Centrax’s premises in Newton Abbot’s Shaldon Road yesterday.

The small blaze in engineering workshops was found to be out on their arrival just before 5pm.

A positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear smoke from the building measuring 100x400m.

The cause of the fire was said to be accidental.
