FIREFIGHTERS from Newton Abbot cleared leaking diesel from the road after a horse box van was involved in an accident in Chudleigh Knighton last night.

They stemmed the leak of fuel with a sealing kit and mopped it up using an absorbent pad.

Highways staff were called to help at the scene in Clay Lane after the accident was reported just after 7.30pm.
