Fire crews deal with Teignmouth hotel blaze

FOUR fire crews were dealing with a penthouse flat blaze at Teignmouth’s Bay Hotel on the seafront this afternoon.

The aerial appliance was also called to the scene just before 1pm.

Breathing gear and a safety jet were being deployed at the Powderham Terrace building.

Firefighters remain at the scene.
