MORE than a dozen firefighters tackled a deep fat fryer blaze at a holiday camp in Shaldon this morning.

Two crews from Teignmouth and one from Dawlish dealt with the incident in a first floor kitchen at the Torquay Road holiday park just after 10am.

Three dry powder extinguishers and two jets were used to knock out the flames by two firefighters wearing breathing gear.
