A TIMBER shed was wrecked in a fire at Teignmouth in the early hours.

Two crews from the resort dealt with the incident in Pennyacre Road after the alarm was raised at 4.15am today.

Flames spread from the shed to damage fencing and fascia boards.

Two firefighters wearing breathing gear used hosereel jets to tackle the incident.

A fire spokesman said the cause of the blaze appeared to be accidental.
